Despite this, a broker needs their own tools to bring all this together into a smooth and efficient workflow. After years of design and development, Salt Water Lending is proud to leverage a custom platform called Orbit Pro.
Orbit Pro manages clients, deals, loan reviews and referrer reports. Connection protocols such as API allow us to integrate credit reporting, bank account verification, messaging, property data and in some cases loan submission. It also automates many reports including loan summaries, interest schedules, scenario worksheets and credit proposals. This functionality is fundamental to our efficient and compliant process.

We consider ourselves as service providers to our referrer partners. Our role is to extend the range of products and services that are directly offered by the referrer.
During the loan application process, we will provide you with relevant updates to keep you informed. At settlement we will forward relevant documents or information as authorised by the client. For our accountant partners this can include loan summaries including GST breakdown, dealer invoices, remittance advice and interest schedules.
We can also let you know when a loan has been closed so that it is correctly accounted for.

Lending is a very dynamic environment. Major economic events such as the GFC, increased regulation and COVID-19 have contributed to ongoing and regular changes in how a loan is assessed and delivered to the client.
Government stimulus packages are also commonly applied to asset purchases that we usually finance.
Our strong technical knowledge of lending allows us to translate the relevance of each change to how it might impact a given scenario.
Salt Water Lending will communicate many of these changes directly, or via a simple and effective email campaign. We don’t send too many emails, just enough to keep our referral partners updated on key changes.
